At St Vincent’s our student centred approach is visible in the way classrooms are allocated in junior cycle. We believe that it is important for our junior students to have a classroom that they will call home, where they will have their locker and socialise with their classmates. Here they will be taught as a class group for most subjects and teachers will move rooms rather than students moving rooms every forty minutes. This significantly supports students in making a smooth transition from Primary School. Each classroom is equipped with a short throw data projector to facilitate learning with Apple TV installed in all classrooms.
