St Vincent’s Senior Gaelic team have reached the Leinster semi finals for the second year in a row. The girls had a hard fought victory against a strong St Colmcilles, Knocklyon in the quarter finals, on Thursday, 5th of December. The unfavorable conditions, with gale force winds meant that our girls had to dig deep, showing great character and resilience in what was a very close contest. The St Vincent’s girls held their nerve and showed their experience to finish the game with a score line of 8-6 to 5-8. Along the way to the quarter finals, St Vincent’s defeated, Ardee Community School, Portmarnock Community School, Santa Sabina Dominican College, Sutton.
