St. Vincent’s senior Camogie team enjoyed great success when they travelled to the Dunganny Centre of Excellence in Meath to play in an development blitz tournament. The girls took part in the one day event alongside Sacred Heart Drogheda, Gael/Presentation Carlow and St. Peter’s Dunboyne. On the day the team were very successful winning all three games and the development shield.
Teacher and coach Elizabeth McNulty explained “This is our first ever senior Camogie team in St. Vincent’s, and we are extremely proud of all the girls and their hard work and commitment. It’s fantastic to see Camogie up and running in the county and especially in schools in Co. Louth. This win is an important boost for the students involved and we look forward to the future growth of Camogie within the school.”
